Past Performances

In 2010/11, the Choir had a total of 7 performances, including:
  • Performance at the “Unity of Faiths” Festival, as part of Westminster Interfaith's annual pilgrimage for peace, Saturday, June 11th. We contributed five pieces to an audience of around 1000 or 1500.
  • Ridván Celebration of the Bahá'í Community of Camden, Saturday, April 23rd, 2011, at Hampstead Town Hall. We performed 3 songs for the devotional to an overflowing audience of 150.
  • Informal see-what-the-choir-is-like-and-sing-along evening at the home of one of our singers, Thursday, April 21st, 2011.
  • Interfaith Charity Concert at St. Pancras Old Church, Sunday, November 28th, 2010, organised by Week of Prayer for World Peace in benefit of the Peace Pathway that is to be erected there.
  • Performance as musical entourage for “Sea of Stories II: A new raft of interfaith stories” at the jam-packed St. Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010.
  • “Week of Prayer for World Peace” performance: Sunday, October 17th, 2010, at the Zoroastrian temple in Harrow.
  • Performance at Cluster Reflection Meeting in Hammersmith Novotel: Sunday, October 10th, 2010
  • “Crossing Boundaries”: An evening of interfaith music and dance organised by Horsham Interfaith, Saturday, October 9th, 2010, Horsham; we performed five pieces to a local audience of about 150.
In 2009/10, the Choir had 8 performances:
  • Ridván Celebration of the Bahá'í Community of Barnet: Saturday, April 24th, 2010. Audience of ca. 100.
  • Westminster Ridván Celebration: Friday, April 23rd, 2010. Musical entourage of the devotional and the keynote speech (Dr. Vafa Ram) with three pieces and an audience of about 120.
  • Interfaith Charity Action Network (ICAN) Concert on Thursday, March 25th, 2010, at Imperial College.
  • Wandsworth, Hammersmith & Fulham and Merton Naw Ruz Celebration Sunday, March 21st, 2010. Audience of about 150.
  • Greenwich Naw Ruz celebration: Saturday March 20th, 2010. Four pieces performed to an audience of about 60.
  • Cluster Reflection Meeting, Novotel Hammersmith: Sunday, January 10th, 2010. Enriched the devotional with two pieces for the +/- 150 attendees.
  • Performance at Southwark Cathedral as part of Sea of Stories: Thursday, November 19th, 2009. Around 50 people attended this highly successful event.
  • London Interfaith Centre: Saturday, November 14th, 2009: Providing the music for a devotional as part of the first National Interfaith Week, hosted by the Bahá'í Community of Brent (this was our inaugural performance).
