Rehearsals & Preparation
We only have 2 to 3 major, day-long rehearsals per year, plus a small rehearsal on the day of a concert. This cuts time spent traveling and frees up the calendar for regular commitments.
To achieve effective rehearsals, all singers prepare in advance by learning the music with the help of mp3s (or a CD) of their individual parts and sheet music with the lyrics.
We also occasionally hold some shorter optional fun and refresher rehearsals in between too.
Conductor
Our conductor is Cosma Gottardi, a self-taught conductor who started 7 years ago when there was a need for someone to lead a small group of singers in Langenhain, Germany and nobody really knew how to do it. We are always looking for vice conductors so if you feel like you want to give it a go, let us know!
